Stellabit Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
Stellabit is a local-first habit-building Android application. This policy explains what is stored, when optional providers receive data, how beta applications and feedback are handled, and the choices available to adults and families.
1. Information stored on the device
The App may store a local app identifier, a derived age-safety band and check date, optional nickname and profile birthday, habits, completion dates, streaks, constellation progress, freely earned currency, cosmetics, achievements, settings, purchase-fulfilment records, and local markers that distinguish pack-granted cosmetics from items unlocked with free gems. This information supports App operation, age safety, rewards, statistics, backup, fulfilment, and refund reconciliation.
2. Neutral age check and children
The first screen asks for a date of birth without a default value or an explanation of adult-only benefits. The entered date is used in memory to derive an age-safety band and then discarded. The entered date, derived band, and check date are excluded from the App database, manual export, Google Drive backup, and external transmission. The derived band and check date remain in device preferences until the first anniversary, then are deleted and a new neutral check is required. The App does not support children under 6.
Minor mode does not start in-app purchases, RevenueCat, Google sign-in, Drive backup, or in-App feedback. A parent, guardian, or Google Play account holder manages the initial paid download outside the App. Minors should use support contacts together with a parent or guardian.
3. Local-first operation
Stellabit does not operate a custom login account or custom habit-data backend. It does not show ads, use an advertising identifier, provide an auto-renewing subscription, use Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics, or transmit crash logs. Local data remains until the user deletes App data, clears storage, or removes the App.
4. Optional adult services
Google Drive
When an adult chooses Google sign-in and backup, App data excluding the entered date of birth and age-check values may be stored, restored, or deleted in the selected account’s hidden Drive appDataFolder. A Drive copy remains until the user deletes it or uses Delete App Data while connected.
Google Play and RevenueCat
Google Play processes the paid download and optional Starlight Cosmetic Pack. RevenueCat may process an anonymous App user identifier, device and App information, purchase token, transaction, refund, and lifetime entitlement status so purchases can be fulfilled, restored, or revoked after a refund. Stellabit does not receive or store card numbers or payment credentials.
5. Global beta applications and feedback
The adult beta application collects the signed-in Google email, age-18 confirmation, country, preferred language, Android device information, participation commitments, contact consent, and optional motivation or accessibility needs. This information is used only to select a balanced test group, manage private closed-test invitations and license-test access, send test instructions, and administer the beta. Application data is deleted within 60 days after the beta ends unless law requires longer retention.
To deliver the private-feedback download reward, we keep only the participant’s email, completion confirmation, assigned code identifier, and delivery date. These restricted administration records are used to verify eligibility, avoid duplicate delivery, and handle delivery questions; they are deleted within the same 60-day period after the beta ends unless law requires longer retention. We do not need private habit contents, payment credentials, or public review history to award the code.
The feedback form may collect an email supplied by the tester, country, language, device and App version, issue category and severity, reproduction details, ratings, and optional screenshot links. Testers must not submit passwords, payment information, or private habit content. Feedback and related support correspondence are retained for up to 12 months after the relevant issue is closed, then deleted unless required for security, dispute resolution, or law.
6. Providers and international processing
Google Forms and Sheets host beta application and feedback responses; Google Play handles distribution and payment; Google Drive provides optional backup; and RevenueCat verifies optional purchase entitlements. Their processing is governed by their own policies. Information may be processed in countries where these providers operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
7. Choices, deletion, and security
Adults may decline Drive and optional purchases. Delete App Data removes local profile data and attempts to remove a connected Drive backup. Because Stellabit has no custom server account, there is no Stellabit account to close. Google Play and RevenueCat may retain transaction or refund records under provider policies and law. Backup HMAC detects modification but is not end-to-end encryption.
Beta applicants may request access to or deletion of their application and feedback data by emailing kstigma1026@gmail.com from the address used to submit it.
8. Changes and contact
Material privacy changes will be announced in the App or on this page and renewed consent requested when required. Questions from minors should be sent with a parent or guardian. Contact: kstigma1026@gmail.com.
